Welcome to the aktiF web page of TSV Waldenbuch
TSV Waldenbuch is the largest sports club in Waldenbuch with 1888 members in 13 sections. TSV offers sport for sports and exercise enthusiasts from the age of 2 to over 80 years old, including many health courses for members and non-members. The office is manned by 4 full-time employees on a part-time basis and is happy to assist you.
TSV Waldenbuch is committed to migrant men, women and children. A regular range of courses started on 25 January 2017 with a gymnastics course only for women. These are particularly geared towards women from the Muslim faith and women from Arab countries who live in Waldenbuch.
TSV is involved in the aktiF project and is well networked
TSV Waldenbuch is networked with many local partners. The voluntary involvement of women in TSV is not just limited to the club life. They are also active in Waldenbuch's circle of friends for refugees. Furthermore, the town of Waldenbuch and Oskar-Schwenk School are permanent partners of the club. The aktiF project has also been a partner of TSV since November 2016.
TSV started a new project for women with a refugee or migrant background in January 2017 in cooperation with aktiF:
- A pure women's group in a protected environment (TSV fitness room)
- Fitness, strengthening, stretching and relaxation
- Enjoyment in being together and exercising
- A course leader who has already built up trust with the women through the circle of friends for refugees
The aim of the activities is also be able to reach out to Muslim women living in Waldenbuch and therefore get them involved in the club life. The course is very popular.
Exercise is good for the body and soul. Exercise and the community are a priority for us at the Waldenbuch gymnastics and sports club. Gymnastics and fitness activities only for women start on 25.01.2017. These are particularly geared towards women from the Muslim faith and women from Arab countries. The course offers strengthening and relaxation exercises.

Other activities in the club
Children from refugee families are and will continue to be actively integrated into the existing children's groups in the club. The activities specifically for children include the following:
- Parent-child gymnastics
- Children's dancing
- Apparatus gymnastics
- Youth football teams
Furthermore, TSV also offers support for individual requests, e.g. children's swimming.
In addition, the employees of TSV have extended the nursery school holiday sport by one hour, especially for refugee children.
The existing range of activities within the sections has also been continuously opened up for adults from other cultural areas. Migrant men and women are already active in the football, volleyball and gymnastics sections and integrate themselves into teams and groups.
